This Bandhani cotton skirt with a golden gota border and adorned with intricate bandhej ( tie-dye ) patterns, provides a vivid ‘Banjara’ look. The typical bandhani dots can also be seen in 6th century painting in cave 1 of Ajanta depicting Lord Buddha’s life.
